New Home Construction

n Smithfield this month, we have been hard at work finishing the roof and the matching standing seam siding. Thank you to Mark Jordan and his team for the amazing work. Learn more about this incredible metal roofing in this months blog post.

Moving forward in the build, all mechanical and rough inspections have been completed and signed and we haved started finishing the interior. The insulation has been completed and the blue board and plaster install has started. Final fit and finish for all plastered in speakers and receptacles has also been done. We are ready to make all those disappear in the finished walls and ceilings!

With the interior work moving along, we have also started the exterior hardscape work. Exterior stone work and pathway work for our stone walls and terrace walkways has begun as well as a large stair set up to the bonus room above the garage. We are very excited to show you when it’s done!

Next steps for this project include getting ready for finish carpentry and millwork installs.

Wayland, MA
1880s Victorian Restoration

In Wayland, progress is moving ahead steadily. We have completed the master bath framing and revamped the layout with a full master bath suite with a connected master bath. This master suite is going to be something really special. We have begun redoing the mechanicals and doing a new high efficiency heating system in this historical home. We will be getting ready to do the roof and wrapping exterior work this month, now that the winter freeze has left.

Remodel

Recently, we took on the exciting challenge of remodeling a space severely affected by a major leak from the second-floor laundry. Our mission was clear: to restore and reinvent this area from the ground up.

We began with a full-scale demolition, stripping everything down to the studs. From there, we embarked on designing and rebuilding a new kitchen, powder room, pantry, and laundry room.

Here’s what we achieved:

  • Powder Room: We converted the first-floor full bath into a sophisticated powder room, exuding elegance and charm.

  • Pantry: The previous storage area was transformed into a delightful, English-styled pantry that adds both function and character.

  • Laundry Room: We updated the laundry room to meet modern standards, incorporating ample storage and workspace for efficiency and ease.

  • Kitchen: Our biggest focus was the kitchen, where we created a warm and welcoming space, handcrafted with love and attention to detail.

Check out the stunning results of this project and see how a thoughtful remodel can breathe new life into any space!
